User guide
- Launch the Route and Navigation app on your PDA device.
- Choose your preferred language from the language selection menu. The app supports multiple languages, so select the language you feel most comfortable using.
- Log in to the app using your Driver Number and Truck Number. Make sure you have an active internet connection to receive route assignments from the server.
- Once logged in, the app will automatically receive the route assignments from the server. You will view your assigned routes and destinations on the main screen.
- Click on the “Get Route” button to generate the route options. The app will display the shortest and quickest routes with estimated travel time and distance based on your assigned route and the specific requirements of commercial truck driving.
- Select the route you prefer and click on it to view the detailed route instructions. The app will provide turn-by-turn directions, including any truck-specific restrictions, such as weight and height limits, as well as any special requirements, such as hazardous material regulations, based on your assigned route.
- If you need to make adjustments to your route, click on the “Options” button to view additional settings such as route preferences, avoidance, and real-time traffic updates. Remember to consider truck-specific requirements when making changes to your route.
- When navigating your assigned route, the app will provide real-time updates on your location and estimated time of arrival. You can also view the remaining distance and time to your destination, as well as any upcoming rest stops or gas stations along the way.
- If you encounter any issues or need help with the app, click on the “Support” button to access the app’s help centre or contact your dispatcher.
